About BYOB Ent.

BYOB Ent. was formed in 2008 when the childhood friends Mike Rob and J. Rucker narrowly escaped death on a Texas highway in a car accident with an 18-wheeler.

In February of 2008, the two were making their way to DJ at a night club for a group of local Fort Worth rappers. While making their way to the gig, an 18-wheeler ran into them and kept it moving.

Always being go-getters by nature, the two decided to do what the 18-wheeler did and kept it moving. BYOB Ent was formed as a product of realizing “we were spared by God for a reason.”

Once the Business was established, J. Rucker and Mike Rob pitched the idea to be part of the movement to DJ Rucker who at the time was serving in the Army. BYOB Ent. was officially on its path to becoming a major force in the entertainment and music realm.

The next few months following proved both tiresome yet productive. Putting in the time, energy, and capital into setiting up a business paid off when BYOB Ent’s first cartoon was released.

With BYOB Ent’s first video release landing on the popular video site World Star Hip Hop, the legacy of Be Your Own Boss Entertainment had officially started.

Be Your Own Boss Entertainment has gotten many offers to work with a broad range of celebs, from rappers to comedians to super-producers to professional athletes.
